Issues and Concerns of Learners
1. Some learners were seen to be
unresponsive and became
timid during the discussions of
the lessons.
2. Adjustment in complying with
the learning activities and
requirements in Mathematics
due to almost 2 years of
Modular Distance Learning
(MDL).
3. Some learners were seen to be
afflicted in using facemask
which serves as hindrance to
their learning. They tend to
remove or put it down because
they were anxious of wearing it.
4. Difficulty in answering
situational problems. Concepts
are learned but not
understood.
Issues and Concerns of Teachers
1. Teachers’ adjustment of the
behavior of the pupils in
teaching Mathematics lessons.
2. Adjustment on the lesson
because pupils find it hard to
understand.
3. During the MDL, parents tend
to answer the activities in the
SLMs, therefore, the habit of

Possible Interventions
1. Teachers should properly
motivate the pupils before the
discussion proper so that they
would feel comfortable and
become responsive.
2. a) Activities should be within
their learning level and
capabilities.
b) Provide should provide more
learning resources.
3. Pupils will be kept reminded by
the teachers on the provision of
wearing facemask as one of the
priorities on safety in the
classroom.
4. Teachers to adopt Block Model
Approach or apply visualization
technique to enhance
Mathematics skills.
Possible Interventions
1. Give diagnostic test so that
teachers know where they
should start.
2. Teachers should make strategic
plan and assess the difficulties
met by the learners in
Mathematics.
3. Teachers should assess the
pupils but not all the time.
 determination in doing their
activities were not met.
4. Competencies cannot be
achieved in its perfect time due
to learning difficulties of the
pupils in all grade level.
Learning Gaps
1. Many parents answered the
SLMs without discussing it to
their children. As a
comparative result on MDL and
Face-to-Face reflected a great
difference in terms of
enhancing the pupils’ skills in
Mathematics
2. Teachers whatever grade they
handle experienced difficulty in
teaching the concept in
Mathematics.
Other Issues and Concerns
The school is implementing social
distancing but when pupils go home
they tend to be sociable and safety
protocols were not followed
Little by little pupils will be
boost their confidence to
develop self-directed activities
4. Go back to the basic
fundamentals of teaching.
Possible Interventions
1. Teachers to have a scenario
analysis for strategic actions
on how to enhance learners’
numeracy skills.
2. Teachers should review the
basic fundamentals of
teaching.
Possible Interventions
Parents will be oriented to
immediately go home so that safety
protocols will meet.
