Dear Fellow Americans,

The argument on weather or not immigrants should be allowed in the

United States of America is extremely large. Many people are against it

but I am not. One quote according to Ted Cruz, was “ We need to remain

a nation that doesn't just welcome but that celebrates legal immigrants

who came here seeking to pursue the American Dream”. This quote

explains that we should be supportive of immigrants pursuing their

dreams. There was a law passed not too long ago by the executive branch

that stated that immigrants that were from certain countries couldn't come

into the U.S.A., but thankfully later turned down. I believed that the
legislative branch should control immigration. One reason why I believe

that the legislative branch should control immigration is because the

legislative branch is made up of a group of people not just person , so it

won't be based off of just one person's opinions. Also uptill now

legislative branch is the one coming up with the laws, and i believe that

they are mostly equal and trustworthy. When the executive branch

proposed and put out a new law , it affected american very negatively.

Another reason is because in the executive branch, they get elected but

never act upon their promises. One solution would be if the legislative

branch improved on making laws for immigrants then these laws would

help protect immigrants even though they will take a long time to make

but they will last longer. To let the legislative branch control immigration

there should be an election where we all vote together.“Teamwork makes

the dream work”. One call-to-action would be if we all work together to

hold an election and we all vote for the legislative branch together.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other
time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we

seek”- Barack Obama.
