Mission
IRS aims to be the company leader in development, manufacturing and delivery of test, measurement and control systems. IRS
systems translate into value for customers thanks to technological innovation, advanced modeling and design as well as
professional production and after sale services.
History
IRS is an Engineering, Research and Development company founded by a group of engineers in 1993. Since the foundation the
company developed following three main direction : engineering, research and system development. Some IRS milestone worth
to remember are:
1994: IRS becomes National Instruments Alliance member , the most important worldwide producer of data
acquisition and software tools
1998: IRS office are located at Galileo Innovation centre
2001: First system delivered in United States
2003: UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification
Since the beginning IRS cooperates with universities and research centers in Italy and foreign country.
The company can also count on two cores, the research, which ensures the constant updating of strategies, and system
production, which ensure actual experience and customers feedback. This philosophy implies some important consequences.
First, the ability to offer customers a complete service, ranging from the analysis to the construction and installation, with a
guarantee of total assistance. Secondly, the capacity of the company to interact with the best technology on the market and
thus provide the ideal solution to customer needs. Lastly, but crucial, the possibility to combine expertise and creativity,
something that raises the product quality a step further.
With full right IRS can say that it is a dynamic company, fully capable to anticipate market developments and prepare in
advance the most appropriate response to client requests.

MeetVIEW-pro1
DC/AC electrical measurements Laboratories and industrial facilities Single-phase and three-phase
MeetVIEW-pro1 is designed specifically for single- and three-phase power measurements for laboratories and industrial
facilities and for analysing the acquired signals. This is an extremely flexible product allowing users to work with both DC and
AC measurements and to analyse and process continuously acquired and archived data. The hardware, which features a
modern data acquisition board, interfaces with any PC via the USB 2.0 port. The resident software, in addition to offering an
oscilloscope function for all measurable electrical signals, allows for various types of analysis and archiving of acquired and
processed data.
Product
MeetVIEW-pro1's front panel features the inputs and outputs for the electrical signals to be measured and, for specific
applications, additional inputs can be used for analogue signals and TTL digital signal inputs and outputs. The MeetSOFT-pro1
software processes the electrical signals of interest to industry – TRMS voltage and current values, active power, apparent
power, reactive power, power factor and frequency – with the display in oscilloscope mode. The software's advanced features
allow users to obtain analyses in the frequency domain and calculate THD and harmonic components.
Field of use
Whether working on single- or three-phase systems, MeetVIEW-pro1 allows DC and AC measurements up to 300V for phase
voltages and 500V for line voltages. Current measurements can be taken up to RMS 25A by exploiting the internal probes, or
indirectly using the analogue current clamps with voltage outputs. Voltage probes have a pass-band from DC to 20 kHz, while
current probes have a pass-band from DC to 100 kHz.
Target users
MeetVIEW-pro1 is recommended both for laboratories needing to carry out and archive power measurements on appliances,
devices and equipment running off a DC or AC supply from 16 to 200 Hz, and for in-line test applications that require
acquisition of electrical power parameters. The great flexibility of the sampled signal and processed signal archiving procedures
actually allows types of configurable tests to be run that further extend the analysis capabilities offered by the instrument.

MeetBOARD
DC/AC electric transducer Modular DIN RAIL mounting Single phase and three phase
MeetBOARD is a family of electrical signals conditioning boards that allow a different approach to electrical measurements:
using a single transducer to measure DC and AC electrical signals, single and three phase system. The converted signal can
then be read by acquisition cards, data loggers, oscilloscopes and TRMS multimeters.
Product
MeetBOARD is a transducer of electrical signals that can be easily mounted on DIN rail or embedded devices. The measured
electrical signals include the following types: continuous and alternating, variable-frequency, single phase, three phase (star or
triangle, two-three-four wires). The electrical signals are converted into the corresponding input voltages that can be read from
acquisition cards, data loggers, oscilloscopes and multimeters. The product is designed for modularity and the user can
choose the number of pairs of current-voltage measurement to be acquired (from 1 to 5 pairs). The bandwidth of the
transducer goes from DC to several kilohertz and allows harmonic analysis, search for anomalies in the signal, flicker
calculation. MeetBOARD cards conform to the most recent regulations regarding safety, such as the Low Voltage Directive, the
requirements relating to electromagnetic compatibility and the requirements for user safe operation.
Field of use
MeetBOARD has a wide range of applications as it perform all those measurement made using multimeters, watt-meters and
dedicated equipment. Voltage, current, power, energy, harmonics, flicker, can all be calculated from the conditioned signals
from the MeetBOARD card. The maximum voltage measured in both single phase and three phase can be configured for each
module and can go from 50 to 1000 V DC and 35 to 700 V AC (RMS). Likewise the maximum current can be configured
according to customer requirements, the maximum value can go from 1.5 A to 300 A DC and 1 to 200 A AC (RMS). Voltage
measurements are made with a bandwidth from DC to 10kHz, while the current measurements can rely on a bandwidth from
DC to 100kHz.
Target users
MeetBOARD is normally employed in industrial applications and embedded devices. The transducer flexibility allows
MeetBOARD to be used in complex and different systems extending the rigid configuration, analysis and storage capabilities of
traditional instruments. MeetBOARD is also recommended for all laboratories that need to perform electrical measurements on
equipment, machine and devices powered in both DC and AC.
