COMMAND USED IN AUTOCAD
1. To Change the Color of the Screen
 Type Command OP (Option) and Press Enter

 Then Go to Display Menu and Then Colors.

 Then the Color or the Screen Changes.

2. To Change Size of Crosshair


 Press OP and Press Enter
 Go to Display Menu
 Then adjust Crosshair Size
 Then Go to Selection Menu
 Also Change the Pick Box Size
 Apply the Setting and Save OK
3. To Change Units
 Type UN and Press Enter
 Change the Length Type and Precision
4. To Adjust Dimension Style
 Type D and Press Enter
 Then Modify the Dimension Style
 Go to Primary Units and Again Change Units for Dimension Line.
 Also Change the Text Height
 Apply and Close and Set Current
5. Auto Save
 Type OP and Press Enter
 Go to Open and Save Menu
 Select File Save and Select the Required Format and Time

6. Object Snap
 Activate the Osnap on the Bottom of the Screen
 Also Activate the Required Point to Snap
7. Line Command
 Type L and Press Enter
 Specify the First Point
 Specify the Direction for Second Point or Distance
 For Line at Angle, Press @ and Then Distance followed by Angle

8. Polyline Command
 Type PL and Press Enter
 Draw the Line as Required
 All the Line are made Connected
9. Multi-Line
 Type ML and Press Enter
 There comes Option for Justification/ Scale /STyle
 Type J and press Enter for adjusting Justification

 There Appears Justification (Top/Zero/Bottom)


 Select the Required One (Type T/Z/B and Press Enter)
 Then for the Distance Between the Line Adjust Scale
 Enter the Scale and Press Enter
10.Circle Command
 Type C and Press Enter
 Then there Appears to Specify the Centre Point
 Select the Point and Enter the Radius for Drawing Circle

11.Rectangle Command
 Type REC and Press Enter

 Then it Ask for Specify the Corner Point


 After Picking the First Corner Point for Dimension Type D and Press Enter
 It then Asks for Length and Width for the Rectangle

12.Copy
 Type CO and Press Enter
 Select the Object to Copy and Press Enter
 Specify the Base Point and again Press Enter
 Place the Object in Required Destination

13. Move
 Type M and Press Enter
 Select the Object to Move and Press Enter
 Specify the Base Point and again Press Enter
 Place the Object in Required Destination
14. Offset
 Type O and Press Enter
 Specify the Offset Distance and Press Enter
 Select Object to Offset
 Type M and Press Enter for Multiple Offset

15.Trim
 Type TR and Press Enter
 Then Select Object and Press Enter
 Select the Excess Portion and It will Start Trimming

16. Mirror
 Type MI and Press Enter
 Select the Object to be Mirrored and Press Enter
 Specify the Line of Mirror and Press Enter
17. Rotate
 Type RO and Press Enter
 Specify the Object to be Rotated and Press Enter
 Specify the Base Point and Press Enter
 Freely Rotate the Object or Type the Angle for Rotation

18. Join
 Type J and Press Enter
 It Asks for the Line to be Joined
 Select the First Line followed by Second one and Press Enter
19. Extend
 Type EX and Press Enter
 Then it Asks for the Object or the Line up to where the Line to be
extended
 Select the Object and Press Enter
 Secondly Select the Line to be Extended

20. Divide
 Type DIV and Press Enter
 Specify the Object to be Divided and Press Enter
 Specify No. of Partition to be divided and Press Enter
21. Block Formation
 Type B and Press Enter
 Type Name for Block and Specify the Base Point

 Then Select the Pick Point and Press OK Button


22.Insert
 Type I and Press Enter
 It Shows the Block or Names of Block
 Select the Block and Insert it at Destination

23.Ptype
 Type PTYPE and Press Enter
 Then Point Style Dialogue Box Appears
 Select the Style for Showing Point and Press OK Button
24.Explode
 Press X and Press Enter
 Then Select the Object to be Exploded and Press Enter

25. Scale
 Type SC and Press Enter
 Specify the Object to be Scaled and Press Enter
 Specify Base Point and Type the Scale Factor and Press Enter
 Or Use Reference and Point for the Exact Scale
26. Text
 Type MT and Press Enter
 Specify the Corner for Typing Text
 Adjust the Fonts and Height of Text
27. Fillet
 Type F and Press Enter
 Type R and Press Enter for the Fillet Radius
 Select First Object followed by Second one.

28. Chamfer
 Type CHA and Press Enter
 Type D and Press Enter for the Chamfer Distance
 Specify First Chamfer Distance followed by Second One
 Select the Object or Line to be Chamfered

29. Area
 Type AA and Press Enter
 Type O and Press Enter for the Selecting Object
 The Area is shown in Command Bar below
