Although more and more people read the news on the internet,

newspapers will remain the most important source of news for the
majority of people. Do you agree or disagree?

In this modern era of nonstop scientific and technological advancement,

obtaining news on the Internet has become an accelerating tendency. I have
faith that Internet news may eclipse newspapers to become the most crucial
source of news.

The most evident proof supporting this viewpoint is the dwindle in popularity of
conventional newspapers. The nature of traditional newspapers, characterized
by a thorough and time-consuming process of editing, printing, and distribution,
is a weakness that prevents newspapers from meeting the immediate task of
readers. Moreover, due to the fact that conventional newspapers are
geographically limited, their reach levels are becoming substantially lower than
those of online press. Such availability of Internet news far overshadow that of
tradional news because of its convinience, steadily dominating the news
industry.

In addition, it is obvious that the advantages of Internet news significantly

surpass these of printed news. The omnipresence of internet have fostered the
development of online news and make the activity buy and read printed news
become out of date. Internet which facilitate people to update news immediately
would probably become the utmost method for busy seekers. Thanks to Internet
- based platforms, news about an incident happening half world away could be
retrieved within a few seconds after its commencement, which renders news
updates one day later on conventional newspapers out of date.

In conclusion, I believe that traditional news will still make up a certain place,
but they will be outweighed by Internet news.
