 Humans have been gathering around circles which is oldest form of
social interaction.
The fire was in the center as the people cooked and ate their food, heard stories,
worshiped their gods and goddesses, and passed down the traditions and wisdom
that kept them alive and healthy.
Our purpose with this project, revive this ancient sense of
empowering through their individual growth.
Given context illustrates, unfair income distrubution altough the capacity of women
farmers in agriculture because of the gender gap in Senegal. Besides these
socio-economic issues, there are more vital problems like hunger, drought and
desertification.As a solution,we define collective activities in three sub-catagories,
education,art and agriculture and created a sustainable workflow system between
these functions.

 The basis of the design is to protect existing trees while physical
structure that the building establishes with its environment and
conceptual relationships.
The concept of knowledge, thought and invention built on the
relationship between the concept of mass which in one direction:
ongoing scientific knowledge, innovative axis with approaches and
inventions can change. As a representation of thought, Hackerspace is
also emphasize in the third dimension.
Brainstorming and interaction in Hackerspace feeds the production
process in the workshops. Therefore, offices and workshops are
located around Hackerspace.

 The seating areas inside Hackerspace face a green wall.

It is aimed to increase the user comfort in the interior by strengthening the microclimatic effects of the green wall, by the
fact that the top windows act as a channel that directs the heated air to the outside when opened in hot summer months
and natural light is taken into the interior.

into a station by creating a route between
cultural and public spaces constitutes the
backbone of our design decision.
The station, thanks to the route, becomes
an intersection where society observes the
practice of architecture.

Workshops and laboratories; The visual contact between the station and the train passing through the heart of the station is provided by the transparency of the dividing elements. In this way, other stakehol-
ders of the society will be able to observe the architectural workshop. An experimental space arrangement has been worked on, with the aim of providing a common platform for the students of architecture,
and later for interdisciplinary collaborations.

 ArcheoCAVE
Antalya Regional Archeological Museum
ArcheoCave is located in the old city center
and surrended by artifacts from the
Hellenistic period to the Republican period.
It has emerged from the idea of ​​being a part
of the continuity in the historical layers; the
last stop.

 There are two shells rising from the earth in the east-west direction. This shell gives an imaginative reference to the
cave, an artificial stone* processed by human hands by leaving the concrete texture. In addition to preserving artifacts
from the past, it points to the materials and technology of its own age.

 As a continuation of journey between the historical layers, the visitor also observes the conservation and restoration stages of the exhibits. By
transferring the conservation history,as you climb through the layers, the stages that the artifacts made visible. It is envisaged that this un-
derstanding will stimulate the visitors’ sense of curiosity, lifelong learning instinct and awareness of protection history.
In this context, the mass is placed in a transparent and elegant steel construction that centers the laboratory. The processes in which the works
are illuminated with today’s technology are made visible by means of a ramp connecting it to an upper level.

The main purpose of the Arter project is to provide a living space where members of the society with different income levels can live together and

socialize. Within the scope of the project, pedestrian movements are observed and a pedestrian axis is defined in the north-south axis. The social life
in the site is 1.5 meters below the main road level; In the basement of the apartment buildings, the pedestrian-scale integrity and permeability of the
land has been ensured by removing the dividing elements.

Betonart Architecture Summer School ‘19
Aktan ACAR/w/Aysu Haşimoğlu,Ala Haj Taleb,Aysu Kuştaş,Melih Karataş,Sercan Deniz
Porous concrete uses perpendicular to gravity on contemporary
pavement and parking lot floor, for the first time in the world
vertically used in the Konak workshop. In this project, concrete
was treated as an effective design input.
Microclimatic environments were given the opportunity for
different users (from bee’s to microorganisms) on the periphery
and in the middle void layer. On this occasion, it is a design that
can change by the hands of nature by the time while occupy it’s
voids by organisms.
