Greetings!

The National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL), an

attached agency to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), in
cooperation with the DOST Mindanao Cluster will conduct the Mindanao
Regional Scientific Meeting (RSM) on 5-6 April 2022 via Zoom with the theme
“PAGTANAW 2050: Agham Tungo sa Mabuting Kinabukasan (FORESIGHT
2050: Science for a Sustainable Future).” This year’s Mindanao RSM will be
co-hosted by NAST Agricultural and Biological Sciences Divisions and DOST
Region IX.

Highlighting the event is a Scientific Poster Competition focusing on this year’s

theme. To qualify for the competition, interested participants are required to
initially submit their R&D abstract/s for evaluation. Top Three (3) entries will be
selected to proceed to the MRSM Scientific Poster Competition.

With this, we are pleased to inform you that our office is already accepting
submission of R&D abstracts until 04 March 2022. For your ready reference,
we are furnishing you with a copy the Guidelines of said competition.
