DESCRIPTION
In order to improve the antenna sealing and to assure the proper electrical bonding,
Finmeccanica Helicopter Division has developed a dedicated Bollettino Tecnico, to
allow the installation of specific environmental conductive gaskets, made of
Polyurethane sealant with aluminium 5056 18 strands.
Rev. A introduces new gaskets antenna in Parts I, II and III.
Moreover Rev. A introduces the light and electrical equipment gaskets with
retromods P/N 3G5300P01011, P/N 3G5300P00911 and 3G5300P00811 in Part IV,
V and VI respectively.
Customers that have already complied with Rev. / of this Bollettino Tecnico can
install additional gaskets according to helicopter configuration and related steps of
the compliance instructions.
REQUIRED MANPOWER
To comply with this Bollettino Tecnico the following Maintenance-Man-Hours (MMH)
are deemed necessary:
Part I: approximately 1 (one) MMH.
Part II: approximately 1 (one) MMH.
Part III: approximately 1 (one) MMH.
Part IV: approximately 1 (one) MMH.
Part V: approximately 1 (one) MMH.
Part VI: approximately 1 (one) MMH.
Above indicated Maintenance-Man-Hours are relevant to the installation of gaskets

ANNEX A
GASKET INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1 SURFACE PREPARATION
1.1 Remove locally the protection finish to assure the corrected electrical
grounding.
2 GASKET INSTALLATION.
NOTE
Polyurethane Gaskets™ are supplied with
protective release film on both sides of the gasket.
Leave release film in place until ready to install
gasket.
2.1 Remove gasket from the protective packaging, taking care not to fold or
bend it.
2.2 Verify that fastener holes and connector cut-outs in the gasket will align with
the equipment when positioned for installation.
2.3 Remove release film from the side of the gasket marked “antenna side” and
position gasket over the equipment.
2.4 Beginning at one side or corner of the equipment, place gasket into
position, carefully aligning gasket fastener holes with equipment fastener
holes.
CAUTION
Release film should remain on exposed “aircraft
side” of gasket until immediately prior to
equipment installation.
3 EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION
