Assault Installation Instructions: Step 1: Kontakt Player / Kontakt Software Installation
INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
Step
1:
Kontakt
Player
/
Kontakt
Software
Installation
To
install
and
activate
ASSAULT,
you
will
need
to
6irst
install
the
latest
Kontakt
Player
or
Kontakt
playback
engine
(version
5.0.3
or
higher).
The
Kontakt
Player
can
be
downloaded
for
free
at
the
Native
Instruments
website.
If
you
are
using
an
older
version
of
Kontakt
5,
you
must
update
to
the
latest
version.
This
update
can
be
downloaded
by
logging
into
Service
Center
and
accessing
the
updates
tab.
Once
you
have
Kontakt
Player
or
Kontakt
installed
with
the
latest
version,
you
may
proceed
to
“Step
2”.
Step
2:
Installing
&
Authorizing
ASSAULT
To
install
the
ASSAULT
library,
locate
the
“ASSAULT
-‐
Sample
Logic”
folder
that
you
have
downloaded.
Within
this
folder,
drag
the
"ASSAULT"
folder
to
your
desired
hard
drive
destination.
Note:
This
product
requires
at
least
1
Gigabytes
of
free
space.
After
the
ASSAULT
folder
has
been
transferred
to
your
desired
location:
1)
Open
Kontakt.
2)
Go
to
the
Libraries
tab
and
click
“Add
Library"
3)
From
the
next
screen,
navigate
to
and
select
the
ASSAULT
folder
on
your
hard
drive
and
click
“Choose”
and
then
“OK”
when
prompted.
The
ASSAULT
library
should
now
be
accessible
from
the
Kontakt
"Libraries"
tab.
4)
Now
click
the
Activate
button
in
the
ASSAULT
browser
box.
A
new
window
to
activate
will
appear.
5)
Log
in.
If
you
don't
have
an
account,
create
one
now.
6)
Enter
your
serial
number
that
came
with
ASSAULT
and
then
click
the
Activate
button
(You
can
?ind
the
ASSAULT
license
key
in
one
of
the
automated
e-‐mails
you
received
when
you
purchased,
this
is
also
the
code
you
used
to
download
the
product.) If
installed
properly,
the
activate
button
will
no
longer
be
visible
from
the
browser
box.
TROUBLESHOOTING
My
Multis
are
not
loading
up
properly
with
the
correct
Multi
Script
Macro
GUI,
what
should
I
do?
By
default,
the
"Multi
Script
Macro"
scripts
and
images
should
auto-‐
install
into
your
Kontakt
common
pictures
folder
during
the
UnRaring
process
(built
into
the
downloader
application
you
used
to
download
and
unrar
the
product).
However,
if
for
some
reason
your
Multis
are
not
loading
up
properly
with
the
Multi
Script
Macro
GUI
(at
the
top
of
Kontakt),
and
then
you
should
install
this
manually.
To
install:
1)
Navigate
to
your
"ASSAULT"
library
folder
and
go
inside
the
samples
folder.
There
you
will
6ind
a
folder
titled
"Move
contents
to
Kontakt
pictures
folder".
2)
Open
this
folder
and
select
all
of
the
contents
inside
this
folder.
3)
Drag
these
6iles
to
the
following
location:
For
PC:
C:\Program
Files\Common
Files\Native
Instruments\Kontakt
5\pictures
For
MAC:
Macintosh
HD
>
Library
>
Application
Support
>
Native
Instruments
>
Kontakt
5
>
pictures.
4)
Once
the
6ile
transfer
is
complete,
quit
and
re-‐launch
Kontakt.
Your
Multis
should
now
load
up
properly!
