ACTIVITY

Pre-lesson: Review numbers with pupils. Write a sequence of numbers but omit a few for pupils to
fill in the blanks.

Lesson delivery:

1. A few numbers from 1-100 are written on the board. Pupils come to the front to write the
numbers in word form.

2. Pupils are given a text in their groups. Pupils are explained about the Fan and Pick game.

3. Pupils divide themselves for the game.

4. Pupils play the game. If they manage to complete the first text, they will swap with another group
that has another text.

5. Pupils complete page 1 Year 3 Supplementary Worksheets Module.

Post-lesson: Pupils play the Stand Up if it’s true-sit down based on the texts that they have read
during the game.
