CLP Lesson Plan

2. listen to how people use the comparative and present, past, and present perfect tenses in a
conversation about changes in one’s life. 
3. describe changes in your lives using the comparative and present, past, and present
perfect tenses.

  2.1 Pre-Stage:
Listening practice  Set the scene: There will be two old friends

  Before listening,  let SS think about one
  question: Has Thomas’s life changed for the
  better or for the worse? (for the better)

me true or false after listening to the audio for

Textbook, zoom chat box, google classroom, attendance sheet, a pen, and paper, google
slides, audio, audio scripts, google docs
 
2. Anticipated Problems & Suggested Solutions:
1. Problems: SS may not able to complete questions by listening to the audio for once
Solutions: Play the audio again if needed 
2. Problems: SS may have difficulty understanding some new vocabulary
Solutions: Let other SS help or I explain the definitions to SS by showing some images or
doing body gestures (come up an example sentence to let SS understand better)
3. Problems: SS may have a lot to say about this unit’s topic 
Solutions: Always cut off or adjust my lesson plans 
 
3. Contingency Plans (what you will do if you finish early? need to cut LP? etc.):
If I run out of time, I will move the rest of listening part into next class.
