Open Circuit
Open Circuit
The two terminals are disconnected in an open circuit. As a result, the circuit's continuity is interrupted.
However, even though current cannot flow through the circuit, there is a voltage drop between two
sites.
As a result, in an open circuit, the current flowing through it is zero, but voltage is present (non-zero).
