What city/region are you currently based in? *

If you are not based in NYC, you will need to relocate to the city for the
summer. We can provide travel assistance via accommodation stipends
and grants.

India

What are you currently working on? *

Your job, and any side projects / explorations. (May be ZK related or not.)

I am currently working as a Rust developer with Ryodan Systems on zk-rollup

called IntMax. Currently I am optimising the IntMax Rust libraries for verkle
tree, verkle tree circuits and starks.
I am also building a no-code zk snarks circuit implementation project on the
side, for simple commit-reveal schemes, to bring privacy to dapps and help
onboard developers to ZK.
Do you have a project in mind for the residency?
If so, please describe your project below. It can be an ongoing project! If
you are new to the space, we'll spend time onboarding you and helping
you explore different R&D areas.

While reviewing the IntMax libraries, my main focus is to ensure that the
constraints are imposed exactly and that the completeness, soundness and
ZK properties are held. Well standardised security checklists and static
analysis tools for exploitable bugs are needed to stop reinventing the wheel for
auditors, before the hackers inevitably turn their attention from deFi projects
to priFi ones. It would be efficient to document the issues I’m currently
mitigating and build tools on top of them for static analysis.
I would write some articles anyway, but I hope for some guidance!

What is your prior experience with crypto(graphy/currency),

decentralized technologies, and/or zero-knowledge crypto? *
Both crypto veterans and newcomers from a variety of technical
specializations are welcome. "None" as an answer is okay!

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DTU, India in

2020. Previously, I worked in a hardware wallet startup (Cypherock) for 4
months internship during college, where I did backend implementation of the
desktop application using nodejs and JavaScript. I attended MIT Bitcoin
Hackathon in 2020 where we built an anonymous login app using Zokrates and
won the Infrastructure track prize. I later made a geo-fencing contact tracing
app using Nucypher’s proxy re-encryption and got 1st prize in Nucypher
sponsor track in a Gitcoin Hackathon. I built the frontend and integration for
Anonymous Login using Semaphore (using Cirom-solidity-typescript stack) in
early 2021. After building some privacy focused projects in hackathons, I left
my web2 job of 1 year at Aadhaar (a unified identity management company in
India) to focus on ZKP full time. I joined Ryodan Systems early this year as a
Rust developer.
What are your areas of (technical) expertise?
The residency is targeted primarily towards builders, researchers, and
developers from a variety of technical backgrounds.

Zk-snarks, Circom, Solidity, Typescript, MERN full stack. Beginner in Rust (2+ months)
