STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

From a young age, I was always curious about business and how things are managed and how
people utilized them. Being an inquisitive child, I have always had a keen interest in
management studies and lead the team for project design and content design and technology
and how it helped people simplify their life. This fascinated me to choose a Bachelor’s degree
in Human Resource Management and Bachelors of Business Administration as my field of
study which helped me learn more about business, administrative skills, management skills,
communication skills, leadership skills, operation of business etc.
Before I took up at Bachelors of Business Administration, I had a limited understanding
about how vast it is in reality. The amount of research being done in fields like networking,
gathering of data, algorithms, and so on, was astonishing. It amazed me that the efficiency of
skills being used today is the result of years of research in the fields and that trade-offs
between execution time and space used often factored into the decision of selecting the best
data structures and algorithms. I realized that Bachelors of Business Administration much
broader than I could’ve imagined, and was excited to be grazing the surface of the field.
By the end of my 3rd year, having taken several courses in Bachelors of Business
Administration from communication and management skills in networks, I was starting to
learn more about business and big data structure analytics and the endless applications of it in
numerous spheres, ranging from healthcare to agriculture.
For my initial year in Bachelors of Business Administration I started learning center of
innovation and leadership skills which contained all the business statics, I gathered several
companies datasets and attempted to use the skills learning to determine how certain external
factors and internal factors help the characteristics of the business. Admittedly, the datasets
were not easy to work with, as it requires a significant amount of pre-processing. The
experience has made me realize that working with practical data and determining the
appropriate data structure to use requires specialized knowledge.

The reason I want to pursue MBA in UK is to further enhance my knowledge in the Business
field and prepare myself and provide me the skills required to grow in business management
skills. Streams like MBA in (HR,MARKETING,FINANCE) structural analysis will increase
my insight. I believe that this course will help me become a complete Entrepreneur and gain
the skills that the industry demands from its graduates. I have specifically chosen UK because
of its multicultural heritage and abundance of history. United Kingdom has Better Life Index
compared to other countries and studying in UK has its own benefits because of its diverse
and unique culture along with quality education.
University of Greenwich, the university's main campus is at the Old Royal Naval College,
which along with its Avery Hill Campus, is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Greenwich also has a satellite campus in Medway, Kent, as part of a shared campus. The
university's range of subjects includes architecture, business, computing, mathematics,
education, engineering, humanities, maritime studies, natural sciences, pharmacy and social
sciences. Greenwich's alumni include two Nobel laureates. In 2019, the university was

awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize for its research in pest management and control to
combat human and animal diseases in the UK and internationally. It received a silver rating in
the UK governments. University of Greenwich was ranked 701 by QS World University
Rankings.The university is ranked 87 out of 116 institutions according to The Guardian
University Guide 2015 University League Table. In Center for World University Rankings
World University Rankings 2020–21 – University of Greenwich was ranked 76 in National
Rank.
The MBA in Global business program at University of Greenwich gives me the best
opportunity to augment my skills and learn new concepts in business, as well as carry out my
research interests. The amount of research being done by several professors in divergent
fields, and the number of significant publications coming out of the department to start the
business, is something that appeals to me about the department and the program at University
.
After I graduate, I want to continue working in my home country which is INDIA in the field
of Business Administration, and keep myself updated in the evolutionary field that it is. I
hope to work at a company where my skills would be put to use. Considering that business
administration skills is now the most important field in almost all industries, businesses are
now using new technique to remain competitive in different sectors of the industry, I know
that my career opportunities are innumerable. I also want to continue doing interesting
projects in the field of business administration skills, after completion of my postgraduate, I
hope to work in my home country and be an impeccable entrepreneur and implement various
ideas and skill which I gather from my higher degree, I would like to work in companies like
WIPRO, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, ISRO, TELECOM SERVICES, BANKS, etc. where
they are using business administration skills (HR, MARKETING, FINANCE) innovate and
revolutionize the current methods thereby trying to boost the potentiality of Business. Later I
intend to launch my own start-up with the knowledge that I have gained from my
postgraduate degree and hopefully make good breakthroughs.

I am hereby concluding to study with renowned professors and have the opportunity to train
in state-of-the-art business that University of Greenwich offers, which will help me gain the
practical knowledge needed. I am confident that the analytical skills, leadership, management
technical knowledge that I’ve gained during my undergraduate course will aid me during my
graduate studies.
