ABOUT IPE
The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) is one of the premier Business Schools in India.
Started in 1964, it is recognized as a Centre of Excellence by the Indian Council of Social
Science Research, Ministry of Education, Government of India. As part of our mission to
provide trained manpower to the corporate sector.
We offer a variety of two-year full-time PGDM programmes approved by AICTE such as Post
Graduate Diploma in Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Post Graduate
Diploma in Banking, Insurance and Financial Service, Post Graduate Diploma in
International Business, and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. The
Institute continuously endeavors to update the content and teaching methodology of its
courses based on feedback from the end-users, which helped in ensuring good programme
delivery and excellent placements and internships.
IPE has a very successful track record of running MDPs over a long period of time. IPE also
has a strong Research and Consultancy division, which provide consulting services and
undertakes research projects for various national and international organizations. IPE is
ranked well among the leading Business Schools in India in various Ranking Surveys. It is
ranked among top 100 Management Category Institutions in the National Institute Ranking
Framework (NIRF) rankings 2021 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of
India. IPE is approved and accredited by AICTE, National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and
South Asian Quality Systems (SAQS).
Another attraction of IPE is its sprawling 22-acre state-of-the-art campus at Shamirpet,
Hyderabad. It has an academic and administration block, a modern knowledge-center
(library) which provides access to more than 5,000 National and International journals,
40,000 books, highly useful management-related software, a well-equipped auditorium, food
court and several sports facilities. The campus also has modern hostel facilities to
accommodate boys and girls.
IPE has an eminent Board of Governors comprising renowned senior Government officials,
policy makers, academicians, and industry captains. Our Board is led by the President, Shri K
Madhava Rao, IAS (Retd.), who is a former Chief Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh
and Election Commissioner, Government of Andhra Pradesh (combined state).

both domain and life skills. The Institute provides many

STUDENT AFFAIRS COORDINATOR’S MESSAGE

At IPE we believe that learning is a continuous and comprehensive
activity and only through learning the fullest capability of students
can be explored and maximum benefit for them can be realized. We
believe and thrive towards delivering essential skills to our students.
As a part of this endeavor, we started various clubs and these clubs
started taking initiatives in conducting number of events and
activities. Participating and organizing these activities students learn
to create, organize, determine, think, and assess. They develop the
skills required for team building and learn the art of leadership by
involving themselves in every activity of the club.
SANSKRITI has been the legacy of IPE for more than 25 years. Every
year our students work enthusiastically to give their best in
conducting the fest. We look forward to SANSKRITI ‘22 and request
the sponsors to extent their support to our students to make it a
successful event.

ABOUT SANSKRITI ‘22

Sanskriti is culture; a culture that nurtures perfection, a culture that
purifies the society of its evil, a culture that determines the future of a
civilization. Sanskriti signifies refinement and determination to
change for the betterment. Imagination and creativity are inherent in
our culture because we believe in the Rig Veda which says "Let noble
thoughts come to us from all directions." The guiding philosophy in
our culture has been to disseminate good practices to others while
embracing noble and worthy practices from others. Similarly, we, at
IPE continuously strive to "Learn, Unlearn and Relearn."
Each letter in SANSKRITI represents different clubs at IPE which are
Shabdsagar (Speak-out Club), Agragami (HR Club), Nivesh (Finance
Club), Shashtra (Operations Club), Kurukshetra (The Best Manager),
Ranabhoomi (Quiz Club), Ikshit (Social Club), Tarang (Marketing
Club) and Indradhanush (Cultural Club).

In tandem with our values and beliefs, we take immense pleasure in

inviting all of you to our annual fest SANSKRITI ‘22. We encourage
you to actively participate in various activities and competitions
pertaining to different areas. It is definitely a great chance to prove
your mettle, unleash the potential within you.

ABOUT TATHASTU
Do you believe in this word called ‘Tathastu’? In Sanskrit, Tathastu is
a combination of ‘tath’ (so) and ‘astu’ (happen or be it) meaning ‘it
happens as per your wish’. It’s a belief that the Gods are watching us
from above and whatever you deeply wish, God from above will say
Tathastu. This means what you wish for will come true.
The last two years has taken away a lot from us. We locked ourselves
back at homes. We missed out on many opportunities of having fun.
It wasn’t reasonable for us to spend most of our time and miss out on
everything. The paradox of living in an unfortunate time where
someone is dying every minute, losing closed ones, dealing our own
physical and mental health, and fighting with the fear of COVID
every day has definitely been hard on us. The time has come to open
all the doors and redeem back those lost 2 years.
SANSKRITI has been the legacy of IPE for more than 25 years. This
year, when everything is slowly getting back to normal, we the
students of IPE, thought of keeping up with the legacy. The fact that
we are actually in the process of making it happen, is itself a ‘blessing
in disguise’. It’s like Gods above said ‘Tathastu’.
If the Tathastu Gods are up there, then let all your wishes come true.
Deep within think of things that will change your life, think of things
that will transform your life journey, think of something that you
want more than anything and let’s just hope that they come true!
