Analytics List
The Analytics list displays the charts that you have permission to view.
When you open the Analytics app, a list of the charts that you have permission to view displays. From this list, you can manage
your charts or create or edit charts in Analytics Details.
Use the Analytics List to manage the charts you have permission to view. You can add charts to your dashboard, or to a
Favorites list, lter and sort the charts listed, share charts, and opt out of shared charts.
Note
By default, all charts and dashboards are private. When charts are private, you see only the charts created by you and charts
shared with you by others.
To make charts or dashboards public, the CHARTS_PUBLIC parameter or the DASHBOARDS_PUBLIC parameter must be
set to TRUE on the Global Con guration screen of the Con guration app. For more information about global con guration
parameters, see Global Con guration Parameters.
Types of Charts
The Analytics List displays several types of charts from different apps:
Alerts are your custom alert subscriptions. By clicking on these charts, you see all of your alerts in one graph. Alerts are
generated by the Monitor Custom Alerts app. For more information see Monitor Custom Alerts.
Supply chain network charts are created with the Supply Chain Network app. For more information, see Supply Chain
Network.
Note
You must have created a dashboard to add a chart to your dashboard. For more information, seeDashboards - Advanced.
To add charts to a dashboard, select the checkbox of a chart in the list, select Add to Dashboard, select the dashboard to which
you want to add the charts, and select OK.
To share an alert subscription, select the checkbox from the list and choose Share. Select the users or user groups that you
want to share the subscription with and optionally select the Write Access checkbox to allow users to make changes and
updates to the subscription. Optionally, select the checkbox to send an email to users, and select OK to save your changes.

To share an alerts overview, select the checkbox from the list and choose Share. Select the users or user groups that you want
to share the subscription with and optionally select the Write Access checkbox to allow users to make changes and updates to
the overview. Optionally, select the checkbox to send an email to users, and select OK to save your changes.
When viewing your custom alerts overview in the Custom Alerts Overview app, the sharing information dialog contains more
information about which users and user groups have the overview shared with them, and whether or not they have write access.
By default, up to 20 entries are displayed, but you can choose to see more.
Note
Users without shared write access can't edit the alerts overview.
To share a chart, select a chart's checkbox, select Share. Choose the users or user groups that you want to share the chart with
and optionally select the Write Access checkbox to allow users to make changes and updates to the chart. Optionally, select the
checkbox to send an email to users, and select OK to save your changes.
Charts you've shared with others are indicated by a Shared by Me icon in the shared column. Charts share with you are
indicated by an icon of a left arrow above people.
To opt out of shared charts, select a chart's checkbox, select Opt Out, and select OK to con rm you do not want that chart
shared with you.
To add a chart to your Favorites list, select the star () in the chart's row. When the star is lled (), it’s on your favorite list. If
you select a lled star, you remove the chart from your Favorites list.
You can lter the list of charts to display only your Favorites by selecting Yes under the Favorites lter and selecting Go.
Note
For some lter types, you can choose to lter on a null value, that is, you can select (none) as a lter.
To lter the list, select one of more of the lter options from the lter bar and select Go.
You can also personalize lters by adding or removing elds. To modify the lters, select Filters, select the ones you want to add
or remove, and select Go.

Variants
You can use variants to save your lters. This helps re ne the list of charts. For example, you can create a variant that contains
only your favorite charts.
To save your lter as a variant, select Save, enter a variant name, and select OK. You can then select this variant from the lter
dropdown, set it as the default lter, or manage it.
Search
If the list of displayed items is too long, you can also use the search feature to nd your charts.
To change how charts are sorted, select the View Settings icon, choose the sort direction (ascending or descending) and the
column you want to sort on, and select OK.
To change which columns are displayed by the list, select the settings cogwheel (), select or deselect the column names, and
select OK.
Grouping Items
By default, items in the list are not grouped. To change how items are grouped, select the View Settings icon, and then the
grouping icon (), choose the grouping direction (ascending or descending) and the eld you want to use for the grouping, then
select OK.
Deleting a Chart
To delete charts, select a chart's checkbox, and select Delete. In the popup, select OK to con rm.
Note
You cannot delete charts that are shared with you.
