General Computation:

Compute percentage of a grade and get the final score. A whole number will be returned.

Formula: A (Group Rating) * 60

How to calculate 60% of the total group rating?

For example: The student gets 90% of the overall grade.
Solution: 90 * 0.6 = 54

Therefore, A is equal to 54

Formula: B (Individual Rating) * 40

How to calculate 40% of the individual rating?

For example: The student gets 90% of the overall grade.
Solution: 90 * 0.4 = 36

Therefore, B is equal to 36

Calculating the total points, which is 50.

Formula: total points = A + B / 2

That is,
54 + 36 = 90
90 / 2 = 45

Therefore, total point is equal to 45.

Calculating student quiz (25) which is 50% of the total score (50).
For example: The student gets a score of 45 out of 50.
Here is the solution:
45 * 100 = 4500
4500 / 50 = 90
90 x 0.25 = 22.5
Therefore, your quiz is 22.5 or 23 points.
