I would like to be an politician because others are

no better. Politics as I have long seen is a con ict

of relevance. The moment you become redundant,
you are shown the proverbial door. In wanting to
keep yourself relevant, it's necessary that you
discredit and disparage the other as much as you
can. This serves two purpose- one, other’s
resources are wasted countering you and in the
process spread your idea wide rather than
disseminate his own idea; second their own idea
no more remains sanctimonious. This constant
back and forth makes one think of himself less
and less everyday because you have to constantly
spread lies. In the process no better alternative
remains, at least on the surface, and we are back
at the stage where politics is hopeless and cynic.
This is where I come in. If I all I have to do is lie, I
believe I can do it better and for the good. I have
understood politics is for the thick skinned and
this is what I am in the process of developing. In
pursuit of ideal politics, we only waste our words
to change a world already collapsing. Why not
save it with what we do best- chicanery, cynicism
and containment.
