● 1954- Racial segregation of children in public schools was deemed unconstitutional putting an end to legalized racial segregation in
classrooms helping African American students.
● 1958- Federal program which aimed to further involvement in science, mathematics, modern foreign languages, and guidance helping

● 1965-Federal funds given depending on the amount of poor children in a school district helping children living in poverty.
