Hello teacher and friends today I present about the Cruise Control
system of the car

 What is Cruise Control System?

Cruise Control is a driver assistance technology. When activated, via the manual
control button, this system can maintain the desired speed without the driver
having to apply force to the accelerator.

 Advantages
The system will maintain the stability of the accelerator pedal, making the driver
more comfortable when controlling the vehicle. Stable traffic speed, near-ideal
engine rpm will greatly reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption. The system can
automatically adjust the speed of the vehicle to ensure a safe distance from the
vehicle in front.

 Disadvantages
In fact, using the Cruise Control system without proficiency is also very easy to
lead to accidents. When the accelerator is "released" if Cruise Control keeps the
car circulating at a speed of 60 - 80 km/h in extreme weather conditions, slippery
roads, etc., it will easily lead to the car slipping when the driver suddenly brakes.
The Cruise Control system is also difficult to use when there are too many moving
vehicles around because it makes it difficult for us to control the vehicle and can
cause an accident.

 Working principle
Most design cars have function buttons "set", "restart", "increment", "decrease"
with different symbols such as CAN, RES, +/- or SET+, SET-.The driver only needs
to press the On/Off button to activate Cruise Control. Depress the accelerator to
accelerate the vehicle at the desired speed, then press the SET+ or SET- button to
maintain the current speed. At this time, the Cruise Control automatic throttle
indicator light on the clock displaying the vehicle's operating parameters will turn
on. To change the speed, the driver presses the SET+ or SET- button to increase or
decrease the selected speed. When encountering obstacles, need to slow down,
to cancel the Cruise Control function, the driver can press the brake pedal or
press the CAN button on the steering wheel.

 Structure

1. Distance sensor and controller

2. ECU
3. Brake intervention controller via ESP
4. Control switch and display
5. Intervention of engine control by electrically adjustable throttle
6. Wheel speed sensor
7. Shift control by means of electronic transmission control
