As Bill Gates famously said, and I quote- “The Internet is becoming the
town square for the global village of tomorrow.”

With this thought, I would like to begin the event- DIGIBIZZ 2.0

A very good afternoon to one and all present, I feel honored to welcome you all
to the event of “DIGIBIZ 2.0 –Go Viral and Prosper” on behalf of Amity
Business School, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.

Our generation is currently witnessing a world of unprecedented change and


development, and during these tough times, we wish you all to stay safe and
healthy.

Amity Business School realizes and recognizes that there is an inherent need for
awareness and innovation. In this context, Amity Business School has been
performing its role by offering students the platform to cultivate and strengthen
their managerial and leadership qualities.

Under the strategic leadership of our respected beloved Dean FMS Dr. Sanjeev
Bansal Sir, Amity Business School has scaled unrecorded heights. Sir has
always tried to provide us with a platform to catapult into the future, straddled
with necessary 21st-century skills.

ABOUT THE EVENT.

Going to the flashback of Last year, An event “DIGIBIZ 1.0” was conducted
by the IT Club, ABS which was a grand success and now on huge public
demand we are back with “DIGIBIZ 2.0- Go Viral and Prosper”.

Digibiz 2.0 is a Social-Media campaign organized by the IT CLUB. Social


Media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc., play an important
role as a business tool to expand the business over social media. And here we
are with our participants who are willing to share their ideas and ideologies and
make their product a brand value concern.
When it comes to social media promotion, it’s important to make a plan.
Social media tools let you interact with your audience in creative ways that
boost engagement and provide a better experience. Every action, update, post,
presentation, picture, or video that you upload to social media will have an
impact on your online marketing efforts.

As we proceed towards the event we welcome our esteemed jury member, Mr.
Arjun Bhalla Sir who would also help us to choose the best social media
campaign. Sir is an Operating and Analytics leader at Genpact. Sir has 15 years
of experience of consumer analytics across the field of financial services,
telecom and insurance.

To welcome our jury member and to show our gratitude, we would like to
felicitate our guest with a sapling.

A sapling is a symbol of growth, sustainable development, and long-term


relationships.

I would also like to notably highlight that this event would not have been

DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION:

Now let us brief you about the event


DIGIBIZ 2.0   consists of 2 rounds, namely, Insta-Vision and Diginet

A brief discussion about Round 1: Insta-Vision


1. The first round “Insta-Vision” was a qualifier round on product marketing
over Social -media and Digital Marketing. Participants were required to
join a team of 2-3 members The difficulty level of this round was
intermediate. The top 10 performers of this round are shortlisted towards
the final round of the competition.

2. A hypothetical product was provided to participants and they had to


define a brand personality for that product. They were required to create
an Instagram post (poster/video). The post was to highlight the brand
personality that the participant had opted for and should be motivating for
viewers to buy the product.  

3. Participants were required to bring maximum interaction to their posts.

4. The post was live for 30 hours, from 10:00 am on 18th October 2021 to
04:00 pm on 19th October 2021.

5. Participants were evaluated based on content, creativity, and awareness.

6. Participants with the maximum interaction were shortlisted

Round-2: Diginet

The final round “Diginet” will be a deep dive into the digital marketing
campaign of the shortlisted participants.

RULES FOR ROUND 2:


The shortlisted participants who would also be our future budding innovative
managers will have to follow the following rules-

1. Participants will be required to use the same hypothetical product
provided to them in the 1st round, to form a plan about how they can use
various social media handles to portray a single brand personality of the
given product. They can use any number of social media platforms they
want to consider.
2. Each team will get a maximum of 5 minutes to present their idea through
the presentation
3. We will ring a buzzer at the 4-minute mark (wait) and the final buzzer at
the completion of 5 minutes (wait).
4. It will be followed by suggestions & a question-answer round from the
panel of judges after each presentation. Evaluation would be done on the
basis of creativity, presentation skills, ability to answer the questions
asked by the jury, and the ability to maintain the same brand personality
using various social media handles.
5. Participants are requested to switch on their webcam while presenting.
6. All the participants are requested to keep their mics on mute until and
unless they are asked to present their ideas.

(Rewards)

The competition would test the participants to the best of their abilities in
multiple dimensions and the one proving themselves to be the best among
all, will be awarded and to add to the victory, there are exciting prizes:

1. The winners of the competition will be awarded the Udemy course


worth Rs. 3000
2. 1st runner up will be rewarded with a Udemy course worth Rs. 2000

3. 2nd runner-up will be rewarded with a Udemy course worth Rs. 1000

4. All of the participants will be provided with participation certificates.

FURTHER, I want to extend my generous thanks to our esteemed JURY
