SUMMARY
Versatile personnel with 9 years working experience in various fields which involve technical and management roles.
Started career as Test Engineer at one of the accredited laboratory and leave as Head of Department (Technical). Pursue
professional qualification in Indonesia and qualified as International Welding Engineer (ID/001/IWE-0293). Taking roles
as Welding Engineer at Danamin (M) Sdn. Bhd. which become person in charge for all welding related activities and
successfully obtained ASME U-Stamp certification for the company with a team of dedicate personnel. After a year at
Johor, he travelled to Selangor to work with a company as Structural Integrity Engineer. The roles involve the
development of Underwater Welding Engineering Center, Hybrid repairs and development of Revised of Standard for
Underwater Welding with Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran Malaysia. As person who in charge mainly in welding
activities at the company, he required to come out with the proposal, presentation to the Clients includes Government
Agencies to obtained sponsorship or grant and execute the underwater welding training as per Weldcraft-Pro (IIW)
syllabus. As the time flies, he left the company as Senior Engineer who oversee all company technical matters includes
tendering, manpower resources and project coordination.
In January 2019, he continues his career as Inspection Engineer at MR Technology Sdn. Bhd. The task as Inspection
Engineer required him to travel to the site at onshore and offshore to conduct works coping before site execution,
produce site work report for inspection planning and management also execute the site work accordingly. The site work
involves performing visual inspection, acoustic inspection, MMM inspection and other inspection method as per scope
involved. Due to Covid-19, there are some restriction to the company and he have been seconded to MRA International
to take the role as Project Engineer. As project engineer, he actively involves before, during and after the site work.
Before site work commence, he need to develop project objectives by reviewing the project proposal and technical
proposal and translate it to project work pack. He need to communicated with various party from the Clients,
management and all the staff involve. He also responsible for materials, equipment, transportation of manpower &
equipment and accommodation. The cost involves also need to be propose, monitor and controlled to ensure within the
budget allocated by the company. He successfully delivered 6 inspection program which conducted at power plant,
onshore and offshore within a year as Project Engineer. Currently he being transferred to MRA International Sdn. Bhd. as
Inspection Engineer (Assessment) who responsible for end product of the company which is Technical Report. To
produce technical report, he need to analyzed and conducted engineering assessments of inspection data in accordance
with project requirements and international standards (ASME, API and etc.). He also need to correlate and compare
analysis results of different Non-Destructive Testing methods (Acoustic Emission Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Visual
Inspection and etc.) to best present the current condition of inspected object. Conduct quality assurance and quality
control of inspection data by verifying data analysis results considering result’s validity, reporting specifications and on-
site measurements.

Taking into account his education background as degree holder in Welding and Quality Inspection combine with three
years working, he should be considered as a strong candidate for the role Welding Engineer or QA/QC Engineer.

 Experience in piping, pipeline, tank and pressure vessel inspection.
 Perform workscoping activity before site work execution. Produce site visit report for inspection planning and
management.
 Read and interpret commonly used engineering drawing and data sets used in support of inspection activities, e.g.
piping isometrics, tank and pressure vessel GA and detailed drawings, P&IDs, piping schedules, etc.
 Work alongside Lead Inspection Engineer to lead site team work execution.
 Main duty includes perform visual inspection in accordance with the requirement of relevant standards, and produce
visual inspection report.
 Work with qualified personnel to perform Advanced Acoustic Emission Testing i.e. system setup for data acquisition.
 Supervise technical assistant in preparation, assessing the condition and prepare reconditioning (when applicable) of

 Responsible for welding related activities.
 Develop and purpose WPS, conduct PQR and welder test (WQT).
 Create procedure for handling welding consumable and maintaining the welding machine calibration,
 Set up welding system for Submerged Arc Welding for pipe mill.

 Conducting all metallurgical testing in compliance with the client’s specifications (ASTM, ASME IX, AWS etc.).
 Conducting Diffusible Hydrogen test which is very critical testing and rarely done in Malaysia where only few laboratories
