more ways I can further
my relationship with my
students' families and
engage them in my
classroom and the school.
This year has been
challenging due to
COVID, but next year I am
eager to participate in
and lead school activities
like fieldtrips to further
engage my families.

This is an area I
admittedly have not
developed much in this
year. It is challenging as a
teacher with students in
various areas throughout
California to develop my
awareness about local
neighborhoods and
communities, especially
in the middle of a
pandemic. However, I will
make this a professional
goal next year to
familiarize myself more

of my students. I look
forward to leading local
activities that my
students can attend in-

for families.

9/27/20 I am very aware of my own online presence and

digital identity as an educator, and I try to remind my
students of the responsibility they have in their
management of personal data and digital identity as
well. At the start of each live lesson, I remind my
students of the classroom expectations, which
includes protecting their privacy and not allowing
students to share any data or information that could
put their privacy at risk. My PLC and I are also very
careful in who we allow into the Zoom classroom and
remind our students in every lesson that they must
have their first and last name on Zoom or will be
removed within the first five minutes to protect other
students' privacy.
