Legal Guidelines

1 POLICY
The Hotel has at its disposal the local police and its lawyers who can be used as and when required by the
hotel management.

2 PROCEDURE
The local police should be called in cases such as theft, or non-payment of hotel bill, but should only be
called with General Manager's or Duty Manager's approval and/or Chief of Security.

It is strongly advisable that the Chief of Security is present when the police are called, as it is easier and
more beneficial for the Hotel to have one point of contact with the police only.

For legal advice we have at disposal our lawyers who should only be contacted through the office of the
Financial Controller and only at the request of the General Manager. Chief Engineer or Chief of Security for
Security related matters.
