Preparation for meeting
Outline your preparation for this meeting:
 Carefully examine the module handbook's requirements for the assignments (proposal
and research report), including formatting and reference.
 Chose three research topics and research pre-existing literature. Make an intention
about scope, purpose, research gaps, objectives, and questions for each case. Topics
are:
1. Vietnamese Women in E-commerce: Challenges and Obstacles
2. Benefits and limitations of remote working in the Vietnamese corporate environment
3. Obstacles that leaders and entrepreneurs confront in managing remote and virtual
personnel in Vietnam
 Created a presentation of existing concepts and relevant queries for the supervisor's
review.

 Supervisor: should focus on the topic that student feel most attracted to and
dedicated to conducting further research
 Decided to concentrate on “Vietnamese Women in E-commerce: Challenges and
Obstacles”
 The studies on this issue are mostly policy papers; the supervisor advised reading
more academic research articles.
 Looked for more research on Women in E-commerce: Challenges and Obstacles of
regions around the world, focusing on Asia.
 Found gaps in research on motivation for women entrepreneurs and exciting aspects
that need further research and decided to switch the topic to investigate the factors
influencing the motivation of women entrepreneurs in the Northern Viet Nam focusing
on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
