I. SPECIFIC LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of lesson the student will be able to:

1. discuss the Japanese theater;


2. value the importance of Japanese theater and;
3. present a rhythmic accompaniment to a kabuki presentation.

FINDING LETTERS

 The teacher will put a jumbled letter under the chair of the students.
 Then the students will find the letters, the students who got the letters will
going to complete it to make it a word.

1. Activity

Table Top Discussion


The students will be group into 4 groups. The teacher will show a
video clip of kabuki performances the students will discuss it within the
group after 5 minutes the leaders from different groups will share
information with the whole class.

2. Analysis
 What is the significance Japanese theater?
 What is the importance of Japanese musical theater in Asian
theater art forms?

3. Abstraction
What did you learn from the Japanese music theater?

4. Application

KABUKI TIME!
Each group is required to bring materials such as plastic bottles,
bamboo sticks, spoon/fork and an empty soda can. By using common
materials gathered, each group will present a rhythmic accompaniment to
a kabuki presentation.
