and Godha Devi (Godha Devi is the incarnation of Bhoomi Devi, Goddess
of Earth) in Alwar style. There is also a "Yaga Sala" (room for performing

Sri Venugopala Swami Temple History-Origin-Importance-

Architecture

The history of this temple is a normal one and not very old. It is said that
in the year 1953, when one Sri Kadari Venkateshwarulu was ploughing
his land in Nemali he suddenly found the idol of Venugopala Swami in
his field. Later in the year 1957 on 2nd June, the idol was consecrated in
the present temple. There is an inscription in the temple premises that
gives the evidence of the above statement.

Once you are in Gamapalagudem you can avail the local transport to
reach the temple.

Gamapalagudem Mandal, Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, is one
such fine temple presenting a congenial and pleasant atmosphere to
bring devotees close to God. What makes this temple so unique is the
diversion from the usual temples is Lord Sri Krishna roused here by
himself (not prepared or purchased like many others). The presiding
diety is Lord Sri Krishna.

Nemali, a holy place where lord Krishna has taken rebirth as

SWAYAMBHU can be well described since because he is showing all his
lelas and mahima's even now with his "ANANTHA VEERYAMITHA
VIKRAMAM" which was revealed and shown practically through
VISHWAROOPA SANDARSHANAM as evident from chapter 11 of GITA
and also as per KrishnaKathamrutham of BHAGAVATHAM. All his
(16000)families are found very happy with him in every house at one
time as narada mahamuni found on his verification that lord krishna
was found happy with all his wife's at all time in their every
house. Darshan of God: The powerful and kind looks of the Lord Sri
Krishna will burn all the Karmas which are responsible for all the
difficulties and deceases of the devotees.
Puja is the act of showing reverence to God through invocations, prayers,
songs, and rituals. An essential part of puja for the Hindu devotee is
making a spiritual connection with the divine. Most often that contact is
facilitated through an object: leafs(Patram), flowers(Pushpam),
fruit(Phalam), water( Thoyam) etc.

Pujas:
During puja an image or any other symbol of the god serves as a means
of gaining access to the divine. This icon is not the deity itself; rather, it
is believed to be filled with the deity's cosmic energy. It is a focal point for
honoring and communicating with the god. For the devout Hindu, the
icon's artistic merit is important, but is secondary to its spiritual
content. The objects are created as receptacles for spiritual energy that
allow the devotee to experience direct communication with his or her
gods.
