SUB: PERMISSION TO IMPLEMENT NEW FEATURES IN HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM IN THE INSTITUTE

Respected Sir,
It is to bring in your kind notice that the hospital management system is running
in the institute since February 2021. During the NAAC first cycle implementation,
the application was very much appreciated by the inspectors. However, they have
also given some suggestion regarding the application in order to make it more
friendly to the Ecosystem and of teaching & learning of the institution. So, based
on the inputs given by the NAAC inspectors and respected Head of the
Departments of the Institute I propose the following
1. In report section of HMS
a. Department wise monthly patient data
b. Department wise monthly collection data
c. Department wise monthly patient status (this will show how many
patient has completed treatment in month, how many are continuing
treatment and how many have discontinued the treatment.)
d. Departmental service wise patient data (this will reveal the distribution of
patients within different services as provided by the respective
department).
e. Turn Around Time report: This report will reveal the time requirement for
each services for each patient. This is very important for formulation of
clinical audit.
f. Appointment register for each department.
2. In concession section of HMS
a. Add “Student concession” in types of concession.
b. To allow departmental head to provide concession upto 50% for patients
in different services. This will reveal active decentralization of financial
power as per rules of NAAC.
3. Incorporation of Doctor/PGT/Intern/Technician name against each service.
4. SMS alert to the patient for service payment, appointment and feedback.
5. Integration of OPG and RVG software with the HMS, so that the radiographic
images directly can be viewed from the HMS.
