Anti-oxidant

Biox is an antioxidant specifically Packaging and Shelf Life:

developed for use in beer. Biox is packed in polythene liner bags
Biox which contains sodium Iso placed in HDPE drums of 25 kg each
Ascorbate as an active ingredient, has with shelf life of 24 months.
a very low redox potential and thus
effectively removes oxygen from the
beer.

Benefits:
1. Biox efficiently inactivates
dissolved and headspace oxygen.
2. It prevents development of
oxidation haze in beer.
3. It maintains the colour of the beer
4. It does not affect the desirable
flavour of beer.
5. It does not impart any off taste to
beer.
6. It has a very fast action in beer due
to its lower redox potential
7. Biox treated beers are not sensitive
to light exposure and so, are less
likely to develop “light-struck”
flavours

Dosage Rate: 3-5 gm/Hl of beer

Application Information:
Biox should be dosed in beer before
or after filtration.
