Common-Source Amplifier
Objective:
Observing the following features of frequency response of common
source amplifier.
Figure:
Lab Task:
1. Connect the circuit as required on the breadboard. Use
RG1=4.7MΩ,RG2=3.3MΩ,RD=1.2KΩ,RS=1.2KΩ,RL=10KΩ,R1=100K
Ω and C1=0.01µF,C2=0.1µF,CS=10µF.
2. Perform DC analysis of the circuit and note down readings.
3. Adjust the signal input at 100mvp-p and vary the frequency from
one decade below of the lower cut off frequency to the one
decade above the higher cut off frequency and note down
readings.
4. Measure mid band gain in dB. Lower cut off and high cut off
frequency and band width of amplifier.
5. Apply sweep through function generator and observe the output
voltage amplitude variation.
