This study aims to characterize community pharmacists' knowledge, experience, and attitudes regarding providing care to lactating women. An online survey will be distributed to pharmacists who precept for experiential learning offices at Big Ten Conference colleges of pharmacy. The survey includes demographic questions, clinical knowledge questions based on lactation drug resources, and questions about attitudes and experiences using a 5-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis will analyze relationships between demographics and knowledge. Results may help identify gaps to improve pharmacist training and counseling for breastfeeding patients.
