Daily Instructional Lesson Plan

Lesson Topic: Bias, Stereotyping, discrimination. Date: December 15, 2021

State Standard(s):

(HS-PS1-1) Use the periodic table as a model to predict the relative properties of elements
based on the patterns of electrons in the outermost energy level of atoms.

Learning Targets (“I can” statements for students):

- Knowing the meanings of these three words

Instructional Delivery
Opening Activities/Motivation/Warm Up (include minutes):

- Have a class discussion about what those words mean, and how they apply to everyday
life.

- ave students write down the correct definitions of the words, and one example from me.
