Lesson Topic: Bias, Stereotyping, discrimination. Date: December 15, 2021

State Standard(s):

(HS-PS1-1) Use the periodic table as a model to predict the relative properties of elements
based on the patterns of electrons in the outermost energy level of atoms.

Instructional Delivery

- Have a class discussion about what those words mean, and how they apply to everyday
life.

- ave students write down the correct definitions of the words, and one example from me.

(35 minutes/ rest of class time):

- Come up with a real life scenario that has to do with each of these words.
- Also include definitions with your work
