INTRODUCTION

A hotel is an establishment that provides lodging paid on a short-term basis. The

provision of basic accommodation, in times past, consisting only of a room with a

bed, a cupboard, a small table and a washstand has largely been replaced by rooms

with modern facilities, including en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning or climate

control. Additional common features found in hotel rooms are a telephone, an alarm

clock, a television, a safe, a mini-bar with snack foods and drinks, and facilities for

making tea and coffee. Luxury features include bathrobes and slippers, a pillow

menu, twin-sink vanities, and Jacuzzi bathtubs. Larger hotels may provide additional

guest facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, business center, childcare,
conference facilities and social function services
AIM

The main aim is to achieve a fully functional Hotel design without any compromise to aesthetics and

services.

OBJECTIVES

• To design a hotel responding to the site conditions

• To follow the immediate urban context and design accordingly
• To create a structure which would reflect upon the values and feel for its
occupants
• To design the hotel, keeping in mind the growth potential of Omkareshwar as
a rapidly developing city.
• To use the site views to the fullest and follow every byelaw that the site
commands
• To create efficient service networks keeping in mind the highest standards of
hospitality industry
NEED OF PROJECT: -
• In the present scenario of spiritual evolution & commercialization, Omkareshwar city has grown rapidly in the

recent year. Although the city has grown very well in the recent years in terms of the infrastructures required, but

there has been a continuous need of a five star hotel which could incorporate world class level of

accommodation.

• The city attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists every year from all over the world they get the perfect

glimpse of the spiritual infrastructure of the city but the things they suffer most is the accommodation.

SCOPE

• To analyze and give solution to the problem that the city & the pilgrims are facing in terms of accommodation.

• To develop a effective spaces in the hotel which could becomes a perfect place of living, meditating as well as recreation for the people

in the city.

• To develop facilities & the amenities at the five-star hotel complex which could serve the people in the most functional way & also to

create a perfect ambience, so that people tends to visit more & more there
