Rizal, others); b. 20th-21st Century (Sikolohiyang Pilipino,
Pantayong Pananaw, others)

The Need for Radical Changes
genuine social renewal can only be achieved through radical
institutional and personal changes, and internal and external
revolution was necessary in order to establish a more solid
basis for moral education.
Concept of Man and Society
calls man as a creation of God who
possesses certain inalienable rights called
natural rights, had the right to seek those
means necessary to maintain and
perpetuate his life, freedom can only be
understood as doing what is good, just
and reasonable.
Role of Government
the authority needs an intellect to guide
and direct it: legislative, a will that is active
and punishes those who are bad; judicial,
government must guarantee to the
citizens "the highest degree of personal
security, greatest number of rights,
maximum satisfaction of economic wants,
and best possible education citizens must
be.

especially former dependencies.

(1890-1960)

Dedication of Filipinos to support the national


interest, unity, and freedom.
Use as inspiration the national appreciation of
heroes and apply it to national industrialization.
The national interest should not be
compromised with another country.
