Our conversation is about two friends who haven’t seen each other since a long time and suddenly

one day they meet in a restaurant and begin to talk each other what they have been doing in their
lives.

Encuentro

A: Hi Doris, nice to see you. I haven’t heard from you since a long time. How have you been?

D: Hi Alejandra, I have had some problems, but nothing serious. Thanks for asking. I’d like to know if
you have finished the university.

A: Of course, I’m going to tell you but, I wonder if we go to talk to some restaurant.

D: Sure, let’s go.

Restaurante

M: Good night, ladies. I will be your waitress tonight.

D: Good evening, ok! thank you so much.

M: What would you like to order? This night we have three dishes. Braised beef, Lasagna and
noodle.

D: Help me whit Lasagna, please! My friend don´t want anything for the moment. Thanks.

A: So, I have to tell you a lot of things of my life. First, one thing that happened me during this time Is
I achieved to finish the college and I am so proud.

D: that sounds great! I imagine you are already working.

A: yeah, you’re right. Just sometimes I would like to quit because my co-worker is too unresponsible
and that is something that drives me up the wall. I’m still thinking about it. But what about you? My
big curiosity is whether you got married.

D: I don´t know how you find out that, I hate to mention this, but my husband driving me crazy with
his work. He is a wish. Sometimes I think why I got married with him.

M: Excuse me ladies. I’ve brought your order. A delicious, braised beef.

D: Excuse me, but I didn't order this, could you bring me the correct order,please? I have been
waiting a long time. One of the things that bothers me is when people are slow.

M: I’m so sorry miss. I’m going to bring your order as soon as I can.

D: I can`t believe it that the restaurant provides this service. I imagine this ever happened you.

A: I hate to say this, but it’s true. Those moments are too annoying.

Coming back to the main conversation I guess you should talk with your husband and explain him
your thoughts about his job. I’ve heard the conversation is so fundamental in a relationship.

D: you are right, the communication is very important. I am going to talk about this, although I think
we should go with a psychologist. Don`t worry this is momentary,
A: I hope you can solve your problems. Do you know what time it is?

D: It is 9 o`clock. Do you have to do important things?

A: Yes, I do. I didn’t realize how long I spent time with you, and I still have to do some things of my
job.

D: I understand, don`t worry, thanks so much for talking with me and hope see you soon.

A: Of course, It was a pleasure see you again. I wonder If we can switch our telephone numbers. You
know to stay in touch.

A: Ok, I got it. You, too. I will you write. Bye.
