trol system is approved and certified in accord-
ance with MARPOL 73/78 Annex I, Reg. 15(3)(a),

CleanTrack ODME is also certified for Oil-like sub-
stances as per Annex II, Reg 14.

ODME SYSTEMS
Due to the simplicity of the sampling system, in-
stallation is flexible and easy both for newbuildings
and for existing tankers eg. replacing of old sys-
tems. A unique cell fresh water flushing and
backflushing feature keeps sampling piping, pump
and valves clean, leaving the sampling system
filled with fresh water at shut-down.

OIL DISCHARGE MONITORING SYSTEMS

Monitoring of ship´s ballast and slop water discharges to prevent pollution
of the environment. Our ODME systems meet the latest IMO requirements
including MEPC.108(49). Easy “one-button touch” operation and low service

BILGMON -BILGE ALARM

The compact BilgMon 488, 15 ppm Bilge Alarm monitors the oil content of a
ship’s bilge water separator. BilgMon 488 is type approved according to the
latest IMO MEPC.107(49) and is a proven design, successfully delivered to more
than 2000 vessels. Simple operation, small dimensions and a smart measuring
cell makes the BilgeMon 488 ideal for replacement on existing bilge water
separators.

OILAN -LUBE OIL MONITORING FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS

Oilan is a compact in-line instrument to monitor Optec-International designs and supplies fire extinguishing
the water content of lube and fuel oils. The systems for land based and marine applications. Water

OIL DISCHARGE MONITORING EQUIPMENT INNOVATIONS

Optec-International Ltd is pleased to announce some improvements and
innovations related to the installation of Oil Discharge Monitoring
Equipment (ODME) on oil tanker ships.
Installation and maintenance of the CleanTrack 1000 ODME is now even
easier than before, regardless of if the tanker is designed with a pump
room or with distributed pumps without traditional pump room.
ODME SAMPLE PUMP
A sample pump using EEx certified electric drive enables installation
close to the sample point, even when it is located far away from the
nearest non hazardous area.
DISCHARGE FLOW METER
A new compact arctic version flow meter simplifies the ODME installation
further. The calibration is easier than before and you can forget all
those complicated insulation and heating arrangements.

Enclosed a general arrangement drawing showing the CleanTrack 1000 ODME in

a version with the above features. For further details feel free to
