SUPER TRIDENT BIOLOGICAL PLANT - IMO & MED APPROVED


ST2A Super Trident Sewage Treatment Plant suitable for a total estimated daily sewage flow
of 3,120 litres having a maximum B.O.D load of 2.000 kg per day.
IMO & MED certified and accepted by USCG for use on non-US flag vessels in US waters. Compliant with MEPC
2(VI) and suitable for installation on board before 1 January 2010

Wastewater should only be piped to the final disinfecting compartment if it is already compliant with the MEPC
effluent standards other than thermotolerant coliforms and the daily & peak quantities allow the residual
disinfectant level in the final compartment to be maintained within the specified tolerance. (3200 L/Day Max).
Electrical Supply: 440 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz.
MATERIALS:
The tank construction is a welded mild steel fabrication fitted with the required pump[s],
compressor[s] and control panel piped and cabled complete.

Mechanical Seal
Electric Motor - totally enclosed fan cooled [IP55], squirrel cage, induction motor, continuously
rated to BS5000 Part 99 and relevant parts of BS 4999, with Class 'F' insulation suitable for direct
on line start.

* 3 level float switch for pump control - polyester resin/polypropylene


* Effluent Quality Test Kit for checking residual chlorine level, nominally 5 ppm

CONTROL PANEL:
Auto-Control Panel with IP55 enclosure mounted on unit with contactors for air blower[s] and
discharge pump[s], 110V control circuit transformer, with primary circuit breaker protection,
control circuit fuses and main motor protection circuit breakers.
Remote Connections: Emergency stop, blower running, high level alarm
Indication Lamps: Blower running (green), discharge pump running (green)

INTERNAL TANK:
Corrosion protection shotblast to SA 2.5 and a minimum of two coats of coal tar epoxy paint to give
a minimum of 250 dry film thickness.
