This document provides errata and corrections to IRC:81-1997 "Guidelines for Strengthening of Flexible Road Pavements Using Benkelman Beam Deflection Technique". It corrects two clauses to clarify that pavement surface temperature should be measured hourly during deflection studies, and that temperature corrections may not be needed for roads with thin bituminous surfaces or those subject to cracking. It also corrects the calculation of characteristic deflection values.
