Instructions
Waistband
Work in rows. Make ch 11.
Row 1 – Starting with 2nd chain from hook – 10 sc
Rows 2-95 – ch1, 10 sc into back loop

Row 96 – Enlarge the loop slightly; remove your hook from the loop.
Hold two ends of waistband together, RS outwards, starting row closer
to you. Insert your hook into 1st chain of starting row, hook the loop left
and pull it through.

Work 9 sl st more, inserting your hook into ch sts of starting row and
back loops of other end of waistband.

Skirt
Work in rounds.
Round 1 – ch1, 95 sc along waistband (1 sc for each waistband row), sl
st into ch1.

Round 2 – ch3, (skip 1 st, [puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into
next st, skip 1 st, 2 dc into next st, 11 dc, 2 dc into next st) х 5, skip 1 st,
[puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into next st, skip 1 st, 2 dc into
next st, 11 dc, dc into starting st, sl st into 2nd chain.

Round 3 – ch1, 107 sc, sl st into ch1.


Round 4 – ch3, ([puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into space
between puff sts one round below, 2 dc into next st, 13 dc, 2 dc into next
st) х 5, [puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc, 2 dc] into space
between puff sts one round below, 2 dc into next st, 13 dc, dc into
starting st, sl st into 3rd chain.
Round 5 – ch1, 119 sc, sl st into ch1.

Round 25 – ch1, 131 sc. Fasten off.

Mark 1st and 3rd columns of puff sts.

Bib
Join yarn from WS into waistband st right above 1st column of puff sts.

Work in rows
Row 1 – ch1, starting with st where yarn is joined – 33 sc

Row 2 – ch2, skip 1 st, [puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into
next st, skip 1 st 22 dc, [puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into
next st, skip 1 st, 3 dc.
Rows 3-14 – Repeat Rows 1 and 2.

Left Strap
Row 1 – ch1, 8 sc.
Row 2 – ch2, 2 dc, [puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into space
between puff sts one round below, 3 dc.
Rows 3-43 – Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
Fasten off.

Right Strap
Join yarn from WS into 3rd st from puff st.
Row 1 – ch1, starting with st where yarn is joined – 8 sc.
Row 2 – ch2, 2 dc, [puff st with 4 dc, ch1, puff st with 4 dc] into space
between puff sts one round below, 3 dc.
Rows 3-43 – Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
Fasten off.

Trim the bib and both straps with sc.

When trimming straps’ short ends, work 3 sc into space between puff
sts. These would be your buttonhole loops.
Sew on 2 buttons. Weave in ends.
