Agent Site Instructions:

If you are an Agent in the Office/Firm, registering your website to use Inside Real Estate as the IDX vendor and
displaying IDX listings on your website is a process that will involve both you and your Broker in Charge.

These instructions are for both the Agent and Broker in Charge. The Broker in Charge will first need to complete
the Broker in Charge Instructions and the Agent will then need to complete the Agent Instructions.

Broker in Charge Instructions:

The Broker in Charge will first need to authorize the Agent to use Inside Real Estate as the IDX vendor by
completing the following steps:

1. Going to http://idx.trianglemls.com/setup and clicking "Vendors" from the far-the left column. The far-
left column has a heading that reads "Principal Brokers-In-Charge".

a. The BIC will need to login with their MLS ID, password, and office code.

b. After logging in, the BIC will need to scroll down to Inside Real Estate. After finding the correct
Vendor, the BIC will need to select either "Some" or "All" next to the Vendor. Next, scroll to the
bottom of the page and click “Update”.
i. "Some" (will allow the BIC to authorize Agents individually)
ii. "All" (will allow the BIC to authorize all of the Agents to use this Vendor)

2. *(Only do this step if you have chosen "Some" from the previous step)* Return to the Main Menu and
then click "Firms Choices for Firms Agents".
a. On the next screen you should see a list of IDX Vendors that you have approved. Scroll down and
click on Inside Real Estate.
b. On the next screen, put a check-mark next to the correct Agent’s name then click “Continue” at
the bottom of the page. Once these steps have been completed, the Agent can then register
their website and choose the appropriate IDX vendor.

Agent Instructions:

The Agent will complete these steps after the Broker in Charge has completed the Broker Instructions

1. The Agent will then go to https://idx.trianglemls.com/setup and click "Online Signup” from the center
column. The center column has a heading that reads "Agents/Non-Principal Brokers".

2. The Agent will need to login with their MLS ID and password and then complete the Data Agreement.

3. After completing the Data Agreement, go back to the main menu and click “Choose Agent Preferences"
from the center column. On the next screen, click "Add a Site".

4. Type in the web address of the site that will display the IDX listings and choose Inside Real Estate as the
IDX Vendor from the Vendor menu. Click Add.

5. After these steps have been completed, the Agent will need to contact Inside Real Estate and let them
know you have registered your website and are now on their Agent client list. Inside Real Estate will then
need to approve/verify the IDX application request from their Vendor Dashboard.
Office Site Instructions:

Registering your Office website to use Inside Real Estate as the IDX Vendor and displaying IDX listings on your
website is a process that must be completed by the Broker in Charge. The Broker in Charge will need to complete
the following steps:

1. Go to http://idx.trianglemls.com/setup and click "Vendors" in the far-left column. The far-left column has
a heading that reads "Principal Brokers-In-Charge".

a. The BIC will need to login with the MLS ID, password, and Office Code.

b. After logging in, the BIC will need to scroll down to Inside Real Estate. After finding the correct
Vendor, the BIC will need to select either "Some" or "All" next to the appropriate Vendor. Next,
scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Update”.
1. "Some" (will allow the BIC to authorize Agents individually)
2. "All" (will allow the BIC to authorize all of the Agents to use this Vendor)

2. Return to the Main Menu and then click "Firms Choices for Firms Agents" from the far-left column.
a. On the next screen you will see a list of IDX Vendors that you have approved. Scroll down and
click on Inside Real Estate.
b. On the next screen, put a check-mark next to “Firm/Office Site” then scroll to the bottom of the
page and click “Continue”.

3. Return to the Main Menu and then click "Websites" from the far-left column. On the next screen, click
"Manage Office Sites", then click "Add new Site". Type in the web address of the site that will display the
IDX listings and select Inside Real Estate from the Vendor Menu. Click Add.

4. After these steps have been completed, the BIC will need to contact Inside Real Estate and let them know
that an Office Website has been registered and they are now on their Agent client list. Inside Real Estate
will then need to approve/verify the IDX application request from their Vendor Dashboard.
