Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates to fill up the
vacant posts of Senior Residents (tenure posts of 03 years) on regular basis in MAMC, Lok
Nayak Hospital, GIPMER, G.T.B. Hospital & GNEC, New Delhi, The interviews to be
conducted in Lok Nayak Hospital Complex:
1. VACANCIES:-
(i) Total no. of Vacant posts of SRs is 554.
(ii) 3% quota is reserved for PH speciality/category.
(iii) The departmentwise and categorywise vacant posts of SRs in the above named hospitals

2. ELIGIBILITY:-

(i) Essential Qualification:- MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post

Doctoral Degree in concerned speciality from recognized university and must possess
DMC registration from the concerned speciality /super specialty.

(ii) Age Limit:- The upper age limit for eligibility for residency scheme will be 40 years
as per Circular no. F.No. 121/26/2010/HFW/DSHFW/1996-2045 dated 10/06/2011
issued by The H & FW department. The selection against the OBC category will be
strictly on the basis of the OBC certificates issued by the Competent Authority of
Govt. of NCT Delhi.
 (iii) Emoluments:- 6th CPC Pay Scale of Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay of Rs.
6600/- and revised as per 7th CPC and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
(iv) Tenure:- The tenure of Senior Residents is for a period of 03 years including any
service rendered as Senior Residents earlier on ad-hoc/regular basis in any MCI
recognized teaching institution. The appointment will be initially for 01 year which
can be extended further up to a maximum period of 03 years subject to satisfactory
performance, work and conduct report from concerned HOD. The other service
conditions will be governed by the Residency Scheme.
(v) All Senior Residents working on Adhoc Basis in various Departments of the above
named hospitals should also appear for the interview otherwise their services are
liable to be terminated.
3. Fee Payable for the Post of SR:- Rs. 500/- for general and OBC candidates in the
form of demand draft preferably from State Bank of India issued in favour of "M.D
Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi" payable at New Delhi (Non-refundable). SC/ST
candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
4. Interested and eligible candidates may apply in the following prescribed format
alongwith Demand Draft, attested copies of all testimonials/Certificates. The
application complete in all respect must reach the office of the Additional Medical
Superintendent (Admn.), Room no. 005, Administrative Block, Lok Nayak Hospital,
New Delhi-02 by 03/10/2016 upto 04:00 PM. Incomplete application or those
received after the closing date will be rejected and no further correspondence/inquiry
shall be entertained.
5. Dates and time of Interview will be displayed on Notice Board of all the above named
Hospitals and also on official website wwwinh.delhigovt.nic.in. The candidates are
advised to visit the website regularly. No separate information or call letter will be
issued for the same. Applications of candidates not fulfilling the above criteria will be
rejected and will not be eligible to appear for interview.
6. Candidates must bring all Certificates/Documents/Proof of awards/Publications in
original and 02 recent passport size photographs at the time of interview.
7. Candidates, if working on regular basis, must produce NOC from present employer.
8. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for the interview.
9. After the selection process is over, the allocation of institution will be decided as per
the choice and merit list, in a Counseling Session. The date, time & place of
counseling will be intimated on the departmental website given above.
10. Once the candidate is selected and hospital allotted, further establishment work in r/o
the candidate will be done by the respective hospital.
