What you have accomplished in the past two weeks

To recap my capstone so far:

I have completed the introduction / first video of the channel.
I have created a intro for the videos
I have made a basis on what videos I will release on the channel
I have completed the second video of the channel “Art of Subtitling”

Which goes into detail about:

Subtitling is important in capturing viewer’s attention

How it makes a video look neater

During this week, I have completed another video called “Audio”

This video goes into detail about:

-Audio in media and in general

-How Audio is consumed everywhere

-How Audio contributes to tone in a video

-How different audio contributes to different feelings, actions and sensations

The video is a bit shorter than the “Art of Subtitling” video however it took around the same amount of time to
complete.

The video took me 6 hours to edit,

Another 1 hour revising and completing writing of video script

30 minutes arranging the audio, another 30 minutes to finding clips to add into the video.

As well another half an hour in order to clean up the edges, add finishing details and touches. And general
“quality of life” fixes such as fixing audio errors, and so video quality is consistent. ( detailed more in
obstacles below )

What you plan to accomplish by the end of next week

By the end of next week, I plan to do the same routine, which is first plan the video out. Then think of a script,
think of clips to add, think of how to make it funny, unique and/ or neat, edit it all together, revise over and
over again. Plan, Polish, Revise, Repeat.

The next video will be talking about Transitions, And how to use them in videos and why they are important.

Again, I am trying reach around that 5-10 minute mark as I do with previous videos
Any obstacles you have encountered and how you overcame them
Me trying to find motivation to finish it, however I try to stay consistent on working on it with the busy
schedule I have currently.

A lot of the clips I added didn’t sit well with the audio, Some clips are too loud and some too silent. I would
say this took me around 15 frustrating minutes to try to fix so the volume in the video doesn’t fluctuate often

I tend to add a lot of creative subtitles in my video, so it does take up a lot of time to add them all. Especially at
the end when I added a lot of subtitles. I would say that it took it another 15 frustrating minutes to add.
