I. INTRODUCTION
This report is about the advantages of social media on students’ learning. The biggest
advantage of social media is communication .”By social media people from all over the
world can connect and interact with each other”( Social media sites help to connect to people
worldwide) Social media have gained a lot of momentum . A student can connect with
anyone at any point in time via Kids Messenger or WhatsApp. they can use such platforms
via their smartphones, tablets or computers, A thorough examination of a large set of these
online tools has revealed that social media have many educational advantages ,learners can
exchange questions, make phone calls or video calls. Therefore, social media are important
to student's life. It is often easier and more convenient to access and provide information and
communicate via social media..The question this report will answer is : What are the
advantages of social media,that is to investigate the potential benefits of using social media in
education. Findings of this study is that social media applications foster collaboration as they
allow students to work together to achieve a common goal( Exploring the Potential Benefits
of Using Social Media in Education). The objective of this report is to explore and discuss the
advantages of social media on students’ learning.
II. ADVANTAGES OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON STUDENTS’LEARNING
There are many advantages of social media on students learning research have found
that “Social media and networking sites encourage students to engage with each other and to
express and share their creativity. Such personal interactions are vital to creating and
sustaining a sense of belonging like there’s help together and learning online with teachers”

Social media can have a lot of benefits in education. According to Ahmed. , “ Social
media has a lot of benefits for the students and teachers. It is very easy to educate from others
who are experts and professionals via the social media. You can follow anyone to learn from
him and enhance your knowledge about any field. Regardless of your location and education
background you can educate yourself, without paying for it”.( 3) Using Social media
platforms in school, the students get motivated and fostered to learn. Educational videos on
YouTube, easy access to e-books, online notes, and learning via video calls are major aspects
that contribute to educational development.
C. EXCHANGE QUESTIONS
Learn can exchange questions via the Internet and communicate between them, also teachers can
participate in this process “Social media refers to the means of interactions among people in
which they create, share, and/or exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and
networks”

There are recognized three major effects of social media usage by students in higher
education which include; creating interactive character, Learning style and lot more
momentous.
“social media is connectivity. People from anywhere can connect with anyone. Regardless of the
location ,beauty of social media is that you can connect with anyone to learn and share your

With faculty using a variety of software tools and free web applications to enhance
learning, communication, and engagement, the use of social media is on the rise in
higher education classrooms. Compared to traditional learning methodthat
provide few opportunities for learners to develop and maintain their own learning
activities, learning platforms based on social media place the control of learning
into the hands of learners themselves. (MERLOT( (3)

Conclusion
• This report has covered The Advantages of Social Media on Students’ Learning.
The question this report tried to answer is : What are the advantages of social
media. I found that students can communicate with each other and connect any-
time with anyone Social media helps connect us easily. also learning and educat-
ing about a lot of information on social networking sites . It speeds up the com-
munication system between people belonging to other places, social media
works very efficiently and It creates changes in the lifestyle of the people. Social
networking has now become very easy for people to communicate and learn a lot
of information about what students want .I recommend to use of social media as
educational platforms to learn and benefit from their applications, educational
platforms through various social media sites.
