Rural environment.
Inglaterra
It is the rural area of England, very characteristic for its beautiful villages, green
meadows, sheep and stone houses.
It is bordered to the south by the city of Bath, and to the north very close to
Stratford-Upon-Avon, it is considered one of the most beautiful areas in England.
These towns are quite exclusive, and most of the houses are owned by people
who have them as "summer homes" or for weekends to rest from the big cities.
One of the most visible features of the Cotswolds villages are their typical stone
houses (the one found only in this area) and thatched roofs which are assembled
by hand.

México
In this sense, there are spaces in the world where the population has concentrated
and cities have been generated, however, there are others where the population
lives dispersed.
In such a way that where the population is concentrated they are called urban
areas and where it is more dispersed they are called rural areas or, in other words,
in cities there is a higher population density, while in rural areas the density is low.
For this reason, in this class you will distinguish the main characteristics of the rural
environment, also known as the field, and the urban, known as the city.
It begins with the characteristics of the rural environment.
However, it is necessary to specify that the main characteristic that differentiates
the rural from the urban environment is the number of inhabitants, that is, the
population that lives in each space. The number of inhabitants will determine if it is
rural or urban.
Now that you know this information, you can start with a description of the
characteristics of the rural environment.
The rural environment is the geographic space that has a population of less than
2,500 inhabitants. Among the characteristics of the rural environment are the
following

Urban environment.
Inglaterra
England has the central and southern two-thirds of the island of Great Britain, in
addition to a number of small islands of which the largest is the Isle of Wight.
England is bordered to the north by Scotland and to the west by Wales. It is closer
to continental Europe than anywhere else in the rest of Britain, separated from
France only by 24 statute miles (52 kilometers or 28.1 nautical miles), distance
from the sea. The Channel Tunnel, near Folkestone, links directly to continental
Europe. The border between England and France is halfway along the English
Channel.
Much of England is made up of hills, but is generally more mountainous in the
north with a chain of mountains, the Pennines, dividing east and west. Other
mountainous areas in the North and Midlands include the Lake District, North York
Moors, and the Peak District. The dividing line between approximating terrain types
is often indicated by the Tees Exe line. South of that line, there are larger areas of
flat land, including East Anglia and the Fens, although the mountainous areas are
the Cotswolds, Chilterns, and the North and South Downs.

México
The distribution of the population in the Mexican territory is characterized by having
a strong concentration of people in few cities, and at the same time, a large
number of small and dispersed localities in the national territory. The accelerated
urbanization process in recent years has led to a strong concentration of the
population in a few cities, so in 2005, more than 63% of the country's population
resided in only 550 localities with 15,000 and more inhabitants. , about 99% of the
localities have less than five thousand inhabitants and more marked backward
conditions. For this reason, the 2010 Population and Housing Census incorporated
as part of the methodological and thematic innovations a data collection project
that would provide evidence on the living conditions of the population beyond the
scope of housing, in order to contribute to development of diagnoses, the
identification of priority areas and the planning and programming of public policies.
