Dearness allowance (i) The rate of Dearness Allowance for every rise or fall of 4 points over 4440 points of the All India Working Class Consumer Price Index (Base 1960 = 100) shall be at 0.10% of pay. 4, House Rent Allowance (HRA) (a) Monthly House Allowance will be paid @ 10% of pay. (b) Officers not staying in Bank's accommodation shall be eligible for House Rent Allowance to the extent of 15 % of pay, rounded off to next higher rupee. (c) In case both spouses are employees of the Bank, both will be entitled to draw HRA @ 15% of Pay, even if they are posted at the same centre but are not staying in Bank's accommodation. 5. Local Allowance Local Allowance will be paid @ 5% of pay (rounded off to the next higher rupee), subject to the maximum of %2050/- p.m. for Officers In Grades ‘A’ to ‘C’. For Officers in Grades ‘D' & 'E! Local Allowance will be paid @ 5% of pay (rounded off to the next higher rupee) subject to the maximum of %4000/-p.m. and %4750/- p.m. respectively. Local Allowance will not be payable to Officers in Gr. 'F’ and EDs, as hitherto. 6. Family Allowance Family Allowance @ 4% of pay (rounded off to the next higher rupee), subject to the maximum of 21750/- p.m. for Officers in Grades 'A' to 'C’. For Officers in Grades 'D' & 'E' Family Allowance will be paid @ 4% of pay (rounded off to the next higher rupee) subject to the maximum of %3250/- p.m. and %3750/- p.m. respectively.
