Basketball District Meeting Minutes (2016)

Class 6A – District 8 (Boys & Girls)

Class 6A-8 district basketball meeting took place on Thursday March 17, 2016 at
Pasco High School in Dade City, Fl. By phone conference and was called to order at
2:30pm.

Attendance of schools was taken.

Host schools for District Tournament are Girls Pasco and Boys Wesley Chapel.

Girls will use 1 site at Pasco High School for district tournament

Boys will use multiple/satellite sites with the higher seed being the host. Boy’s semi
and finals will be played at Wesley Chapel.

Higher seed is Home Team

Officials Association for girls district tournament will be West Coast.

Boys will be determined by the association the host school uses (West Coast/West
Central)

Host school is responsible for officials association and district trophies

Compensation for official timer and scorer $25 per

Team players, managers, and uniformed cheerleaders allowed entry during district
competition.

District records and rosters must go to district host the Monday following final
regular season district contest.
