I’m going to talk about V6 and V8 engines. As you know, they are V-engines. It
may have from 2 to 24 cylinders. V8 engines are heavier and larger than V6
engines. In term of performance, V8 engine is faster, more powerful, convenient
and reliable compared to V6 engines. However, V8 consumes more fuel in
comparison with V6. Moreover, V8 engines are more expensive than V6 and their
maintenance cost of V8 is higher than V6. While V6 is used to front-and rear
wheel-drive cars, V8 is used to all or rear-wheel-drive cars.
