Agenda:

Procedure:
After declaring a quorum, the meeting started at 1:32 in the afternoon with
an Opening Prayer led by Sis. Marianne Cañon.
Bro. Joel Conde then thanked all those who are present for attending the
Meeting. After which he spearheaded the discussion of the following agenda:
Bro. Joel Conde stated that our confraternity will be affiliated to the National
Archconfraternity of Our Lady of Lourdes. He reminded the members to
attend the upcoming orientation for all old and new members. It is an
orientation about the story of St. Bernadette and the apparition of Our Lady
of Lourdes. Bro. Joel emphasized all the rules and obligations of each
members of the confraternity by reading and explaining what is stated in
each articles of the handbook “Tulumanon sa mga Sakop sa Cofradia sa
Nuestra Señora sa Birhen sa Lourdes”. He also stated that every member
should have its certificate of admission.
The first day of the Novena and Mass will start at February 2, 2021 at 4:15
P.M. The feast day will be on February 11, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. The Requiem
Mass will be on February 12, 2021 at 5:00 A.M. Following the Requiem
Mass, selected people will join the procession to send the banner and image
of Our Lady of Lourdes to the Hermana Mayor's house, where there will be
be a breakfast after. Bro. Joel stated that according to Fr. Dennis, it would
be preferable if the Investiture Ceremony and Rite of Admission will took
place on the first day of the Novena, so that they would already be members
of the confraternity on the feast day. Members are also encouraged to attend
all of the Novena Masses until the Requiem Mass.
3. Uniforms
White, not off-white, should be used for the uniforms. Girls must wear a
white veil, medal, and girdle, while boys must wear a medal. The medals and
girdles should be powder blue or "celeste" in color. Bro. Joel explained why it
is the color that is appropriate for the medals and girdles.
The Grotto beside the church should be cleaned by the groups assigned for
that month before the first Saturday of the month. The Grotto should be
decorated with flowers. Every first Saturday, members should bring a candle
for the Felicitacion Sabatina. During the offertory, every member is
encouraged to make an offering.
The current President, Sis. Candelaria Cataag talked about what they did
before for the Felicitacion Sabatina and when they will have their meeting.
She also talked about how she became the confraternity's President and how
she cleans Grotto every Saturday. She insisted to have an election for a new
set of officers and the following are the election results:
7. Other Matters
After the feast day mass, each group will have its own meal menu. The menu
were suggested by certain members, and it was determined that there would
be a "bunot-bunot" to be fair.
After having no matters to be discussed, the meeting ended at 3:18 P.M. with
a Closing Prayer led by Sis. Marianne Cañon.
