text. They can “signal” the transition from one point to another, the ordering of events
and concepts, or the writer’s chosen text type (e.g., linear narration, question and

ASSESSMENT/
APPLICATION A. Individual Activity/ DLP

The students will create a short paragraph expressing their thoughts/feelings on how
they cope up for being in an online-class for almost a year.

To be honest, online class has both positive and negative

consequences on me. I didn't like the idea at first since it
comes with a lot of challenges, such as poor internet
connection, which means I can't always attend my online
classes. It also has an impact on my mental health, as I
frequently experience breakdowns. But then I realized that
taking an online class allows me to save or spend less money
because I don't have to go to campus and I don't need as
many school supplies because much of my schoolwork is
completed using Microsoft programs. I find online classes
challenging, but I can manage.
