Concept / Topic To Teach: Contemporary Technology.

SS.9-12.FL.4. Develop and evaluate a personal financial plan - including a savings plan,
utilizing a financial record keeping system for accounts.

Objective(s):
Students will be able to discuss different historical events of America and what caused them
with 95% accuracy.

Procedure:
Introduction: ​Going through historical events throughout the decade ( 2000 - 2010 ) timeline in
America. As we dive into the 2000s, I will introduce the birth of culture in the United States. I will
Talk about the different tragedies, elections, music, economics, inventions that influenced things
across the nation. I will have students listen in on a 15-20 minutes powerpoint, and how it
inspired thousands of ideas, inventions, economy decisions in today's America
Discuss (In Pairs) the questions below
1. A historical event that personally affected them.
2. “What do you think is the most significant event of the decade and why?
Activities:
1. In Pairs students will follow printed instructions on iPad Setup
- I have one child with autism, So I will have a specialized teacher come in to assist
one-on-one during IPad Setup.
Assessment: ​Students will Individually use iPad to research and answer quiz on handed out
quiz
